2002 F.A.O. REGULATION against wood parasites

The use of cardboard pallets is specifically recommended when, pursuant to the laws of the country, goods must be delivered on pallets free from wood parasites (USA, Canada, China, Australia, Turkey, Brazil and many

more already comply with this standard).

Wood pallets must therefore undergo an expensive thermal or chemical treatment and be shipped together with the

relevant Certification.

LIGHTNESS: our 4-way pallet measures 120 x 80 cm and weights just 2 kg, whereas traditional wood pallets weight 15-20 kg. This entails easier handling and reduced transport costs.

RECYCLABILITY: since it is entirely manufactured in recycled paper, it is 100% recyclable and can be re-used together with boxes and other paper packaging.

SAFETY: the absence of nails and wood splinters makes this product particularly safe and eliminates the risk of injuries and of damages to the packaging or packed materials.

VERSATILITY: in addition to standard sizes (“120 x 80 cm”, “80 x 60 cm” and “60 x 40 cm”), the pallet may also be made to measure upon request, even in small batches. In the 4-way version, the 40 mm to 100 mm-high feet make it easy for the pallet to be entered both by forklifts and pallet trucks.

STRENGTH: tests carried out in external laboratories resulted in a high crush strength.

It is however advisable to make sure our NIDOPAN® pallets are suitable by means of some transport and loading tests.
